Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a RN Fellow for our PCICU team within Inova’s L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital. This position is for an experienced RN looking to change specialties (strongly prefer cardiac or pediatric experience). Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Bonus available

Schedule: Full time – 3 x 12-hour shifts/week (Day/Night Rotation)

At Inova, the Pediatric Cardiac ICU (PCICU) serves the needs of critically ill infants, children, and adolescents who require specialized heart care. This specialized unit is staffed by highly skilled nurses and a team of intensivists from multiple subspecialties, including anesthesiology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric heart surgery, neonatology (newborn care), cardiac critical care, and pulmonology (lung care) and. The unit is expanding to include transplant and device management.

Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of RN clinical experience. Strongly prefer 1-2 years of Cardiac or pediatric RN experience.
- Education: BSN, MSN or ADN required. If RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of state date.
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) required, PALS within 6 months of hire.
- Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
- Proficient computer skills required.
