Position Description

Job Title: RN Neuro ICU
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Duration: 13 week contract
Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Pay: $2,800 weekly

Required:
  1. VA OR Compact License
  2. BLS - AHA
  3. ACLS - AHA
  4. NIHSS
  5. 2+ years of exp in ICU or CCU
Job Details:
Chesapeake is located in the beautiful area known as “Coastal Virginia.” Located Just minutes away from Virginia Beach and Norfolk, VA! Chesapeake is an outdoor lover’s paradise offering trails for all levels of hikers and over 20 waterways to explore!

RTO FROM 7/9-7/19 CANNOT BE ACCEPTED
3x12 OR 4x12 (OT billed after 48 on 4x12), Nights, weekdays, EOW, Float, Holidays within contract
Must be willing to float to Stepdown Unit. May also be floated to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU patients being held

Skills required: Strong neuro experience required (post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke), Vents, IV drip titration, Telemetry monitoring, Conscious Sedation, Dysrhythmia and emergency management
Ratios - 1:2-3

3 years CC experience preferred (will consider strong candidates without 3 years) travel experience preferred.
Must be EPIC proficient, no exceptions
Local Rules: No RN candidates will be accepted if they reside less than 50 miles from facility.
Qualivis Submission Form and current NURSYS report required on all submissions.

Patient populations include:
Neurosurgical and post-stroke
Respiratory Failure
Renal Failure
Post-surgical
Trauma
Sepsis and MODS
Heart failure and post-cardiac cath
